Etched Mandalorian Symbol Progress

There are two pictures of the same thing because it seems to show how light can effect the way it looks.

The tool that was used to etch the Mandalorian symbol (Star Wars) into the metal is called 'Inscriblio'. It takes 4 AAA to power and lasts a fairly good amount of time. Also it seems to be able to etch most materials.

The metal plate came off a dead CD drive.

"Burn" marks are black spray paint (spray it on and sand it off with light grade sand paper).

Clear coat of acrylic over it all when I felt finished (or until I decide more to do).

Dents are from me testing a repaired spring powered air soft. I think I fixed it a little too good... I think I disabled some safety thing in it... shoots a little too hard since its denting what I believe to be steel or a decent thickness of aluminum.

The main idea for this was to look like it was apart of some piece of electronic device or a case... In all reality I just wanted something to engrave and this seemed to fit the bill perfectly.
